has won rave reviews from Zagat and the Michelin Guide both for its exceptional vistas and exquisite cuisine. George’s occupies three levels overlooking La Jolla Cove. Every floor of the restaurant provides stunning sunset panoramas, but tables on the rooftop terrace are easily the most sought-after during the summer. The food at George’s consists of creative Californian coastal cuisine, with each floor offering a different menu. The rooftop Ocean Terrace serves brunch specials at the weekend, and there’s also a great selection of handcrafted cocktails to sip on while enjoying the view.Eddie V’s Prime Seafood
is another La Jolla Cove hotspot. Here, you can dine on delicious fresh seafood and prime steaks while drinking specialty cocktails and listening to live jazz music.Duke’s La Jolla

Things to Do
October’s La Jolla Art & Wine Festival
showcases the work of more than 170 artists from across the United States and Mexico. Along with art pieces from a wide variety of mediums, the festival features a wine and beer garden pouring drinks from local craft breweries and distilleries and more than 40 international wineries.
The luxurious AAA Five Diamond Lodge at Torrey Pines
resort sits atop a cliff overlooking Torrey Pines State Beach and Torrey Pines Golf Course. Torrey Pines Golf Course’s
dramatic landscape of towering seaside cliffs makes it one of the world’s most scenic municipal courses. This premier golf course has 36 holes originally designed by William F. Bell and updated in 2001 by Rees Jones. Torrey Pines Golf Course hosts the annual Farmers Insurance Open
on the PGA Tour. Other tournaments held on the course include the 2008 and 2021 U.S. Open.La Jolla Concours d’Elegance
is a premier car show held each year in April. The diverse vehicles participating in the Concours d’Elegance range from vintage horseless carriages to classic sports cars.The Grunion Run
is a unique Southern Californian phenomenon that sees grunion fish leave the ocean to spawn in large numbers on the state’s beaches. The event occurs for four consecutive nights following each full moon and new moon. During the open season between March and September, those with a California fishing license are permitted to collect grunion from the beaches to take home and cook.
